Online Tool Shows Cost Difference of Electric Vs. Gasoline Vehicles

U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) new interactive online tool, eGallon, lets you compare costs of fueling electric vehicles versus driving on gasoline. Users can choose a U.S. state and the eGallon tool will show the difference in cost. DOE reports, "The price of an eGallon tells consumers how much it costs to drive an electric vehicle the same distance they could go on a gallon of unleaded gasoline in a similar car."

Visit DOE's website for more information on electric vehicles.
