OSHA is seeking input from
stakeholders on how to enhance training offered to private sector workers,
supervisors and employers through its OSHA Training Institute
(OTI) Education Centers Program, with the purpose of identifying ways to
add value to the training offered through the program. Input may include topics
such as adding training sites, instituting a nationwide certificate and degree
program, adding courses or other services. OTI Education Centers are a national
network of nonprofit organizations authorized by OSHA to deliver occupational
safety and health training. Interested parties may submit input through the web forum
until Oct. 31, 2011.
