ISO Standard Covers Ergo Basics

Matching work and workers has long been a focus in the SH&E community. Applying ergonomics principles can reduce stress and repetition, and keep workers healthier. ISO’s new 26800:2011 standard, Ergonomics: General Approach, Principles and Concepts, is an umbrella reference designed to provide an integrated framework bringing together the basic principles and concepts of ergonomics in one, giving practitioners a high-level view of the way in which ergonomics is applied.
