New App Tracks Employment & Economic Data

A new, free app from U.S. Department of Labor provides up-to-date information on the unemployment rate, the Consumer Price Index, the U.S. Import and Export Price indexes, average hourly wages and productivity. Users also can access economic news releases from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and its Employment and Training Administration. Currently available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Android phones, the app can be downloaded at http://m.dol.gov/apps.
