It's National Ergonomics Month: Join Us for a Free Webinar!

In 2003, Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) designated October of every year as National Ergonomics Month (NEM). The purpose of NEM is to promote human factors/ergonomics to corporate executives, students and the general public by providing information and services to the community. You can find a list of suggested activities on the NEM webpage, or consider visiting the LinkedIn page of ASSE's Ergonomics Practice Specialty to start a discussion on this topic.

In support of NEM, ASSE's Ergonomics Practice Specialty makes a targeted effort to reach out every October with articles, webinars and information to the ASSE community. This year, we are hosting a free webinar, "Lean Thinking on Manual Material Handling," that will be delivered by two long-time members of the Ergonomics Practice Specialty: Jessica Ellison, CPE, and Elise Condie, CPE, both from EORM. The webinar is Thursday, Oct. 22, 1:00-2:00 pm (CDT). Visit our event page to learn more about the webinar and to register.
