Inactivity Heightens MSD Risk, EU-OSHA Warns

Most people are familiar with the more common causes of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs): awkward postures, repetitive movements, bending and twisting while handling loads, etc. However, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) reminds us that MSDs can also be caused by prolonged sitting or standing in the same position.
