Nominations Wanted for Medal of Technology & Innovation

Each year, the U.S. President presents the National Medal of Technology and Innovation to an individual, a team (up to four people) or company for their contributions to U.S. economic, environmental and social well-being. The Department of Commerce's U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is accepting nominations for this year's medal until March 31, 2012. USPTO says, "the Medal also seeks to inspire future generations of Americans to prepare for a pursue technical careers to keep America at the forefront of global technology and economic leadership."
