The World Standards Cooperation (WSC) is hosting a competition to design a poster for World Standards Day, scheduled for Oct. 14, 2012. The theme for the poster is "Less waste, better results--Standards increase efficiency." Submissions are due May 10, 2012, and winning entries will receive monetary prizes. WSC is comprised of the International Electrotechnical Commission, International Organization for Standardization and International Telecommunication Union. Representatives from these organizations will choose the finalists, and the public will choose the winning designs.
