Program Studies How Climate Change Affects Health

How is human health affected by climate change? National Institutes of Health is hoping to answer that question with its new research program. The program will analyze risk factors that cause people to become vulnerable to heat exposure, changing weather patterns, air pollution and toxic chemicals. NIH reports the program also will strive to determine which populations are more susceptible to diseases caused by climate change.
