Safetynet from Predictive Solutions has released a new app that makes it easier for companies to collect safety observations to predict and prevent workplace injuries. Safetynet allows customers to measure the effectiveness of their safety programs, determine leading indicators of risk and identify where their next injury is likely to occur. With the new app, users can increase the number of inspections while improving the quality of observations. By removing the manual data entry steps that come with paper-based observations, companies get inspection results faster, allowing teams to be more productive. The app is now available for download from the App Store and can be installed on an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. SafetyNet is also available on most BlackBerry devices, and an Android version of the app is planned for release in January 2012.
