October a Deadly Month in Mines

MSHA's most recent hazard alert reports that, in the last 11 years, more fatal incidents have occurred in the month of October in metal/nonmetal mines than in any other month. The alert reminds miners/operators of nine best practices that can best protect workers and ensure safety. Check it out here.
