ASSE has announced it will work with Russia's National Association of Centers for Occupational Safety and Health to help improve global workplace safety. In a memorandum of understanding signed at the recent Safety 2013, held in Las Vegas, NV, it says the partnership aims to improve "vocational training and professional development of managers and consultants in the field of occupational safety." This includes sharing best practices; exchanges of technical information related to occupational safety and health developments; and joint preparation and implementation in training and professional development.
