ASSE President Terrie Norris Calls For Prevention Culture

In her message to Safety 2012 attendees, Terrie Norris urged safety professionals to strive to develop prevention cultures in their workplaces. Injury and illness rates should be a call to action for the global safety community, she said, adding that it's time to get off the current plateau of complacency. She also encouraged attendees to continue their pursuit of professional excellence in all their efforts. As thought leaders and advocates of the profession, ASSE members must continue to focus on sharing their knowledge and extending their influence.
