University students can pitch their ideas for the Regional Clean Energy Business Plan Competition, which is underway. Six regional competitions across the U.S. serve as platforms for students interested in creating innovative business plans involving low-carbon technologies and to transform clean energy ideas into businesses. One of the region's submission deadline has passed already, so be sure to check other submission deadlines, which range from January 15 to March 2, 2012.
The six regional winners will receive $100,000, and and chance to compete for the national grand prize contest held at the Department of Energy in Washington, DC.
