TRW Automotive Holdings
Corp. is demonstrating its commitment to “the safety everyone deserves” at
the recent Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung international motorshow in
Frankfurt, Germany. TRW highlighted new technology innovations with an emphasis
on developing advanced safety technologies suitable for all vehicle platforms
and in all markets.
“We are delivering cognitive, or intelligent, safety
technologies for everyone,” says TRW’s John Plant. “Our aim is to assist in
making everyone safer—not just those who can afford a luxury vehicle.”
Examples of TRW's modular technologies include its
electronic stability control family; scalable camera and radar systems; modular
airbag kits; and electrically powered steering systems.
