Infographic: The Anatomy of Walking

Research shows that one hour of vigorous activity a day can reduce the risk of breast cancer by 25%. However, one hour of walking each day has also been proven to reduce the risk of breast cancer.

According to a study, women who participate in an average of 60 minutes of walking per day, with no additional recreational activity, can lower their risk of breast cancer by 14% regardless of body type or hormonal status when compared to women who walked for 3 hours or less each week.
