NIOSH has now published a version of the
Ladder Safety app in Spanish. The mobile app, released earlier this year, aims to reduce injuries and keep workers safe while working with extension ladders. Using visual and audio signals and a specially designed
angle-of-inclination indicator, the app provides feedback on safe positioning of extension ladders, making it easy to set ladders at the proper angle. It also offers useful tips, references and a safety guide for extension ladder selection, inspection, accessorizing and use.
