In a speech to the ASSE House of Delegates, 2014-15 ASSE President Trish Ennis took to the stage as ASSE's 100th president. In addressing the group, she spoke of ASSE's core values. "Our core values form the foundation on which we work and conduct our Society business," she said. "My message to you today is that I am committed to those values and I intend to make meeting the changing needs of our members one of the primary focuses of my term as president."
Ennis also called for cooperation and a collective focus on improving the profession. "There should not be silos but rather cooperation that leverages the opportunities that we identify and create in support of the profession and the professional," Ennis said. Her term of office officially begins July 1.
