The Visiting Partners Program (VPP) is a new endeavor under the auspices of the University of Michigan's long-standing occupational and environmental health training grant funded through NIOSH. The program offers a novel opportunity for professionals to collaborate with UM faculty on projects addressing occupational and environmental health and safety issues relevant to their work. It is a part-time, nonresidential, nondegree program that offers a modest honorarium. In addition, participants are appointed as visiting scholars with full access to UM resources.
