Earth Day is Sunday, April 22, 2012. EPA encourages the public to snap a photograph on Earth Day to illustrate what the environmental day looks like.
EPA's Greenversations blog gives instructions to take a photo any time during the 24-hour period of Earth Day, then upload it to your Flickr account and share it with the State of the Environment group. The agency is accepting entries until midnight (ET) on Saturday, April 28. EPA will highlight one photo from each U.S. state or territory and also will feature the state with the most participation.
