NIOSH Examines Injuries & Illnesses in Wholesale & Retail Trade

In a new chartbook, NIOSH provides a summary of fatal and nonfatal injury/illness information describing the wholesale and retail trade sector. Information in the document is based on data from the mid-decade year of 2005; this year was chosen to serve as the baseline for the sector. "The purpose of this chartbook is to identify high-risk subsectors, as well as industries, occupations and tasks," NIOSH says.
